Client Spotlight: Arizona Track & Field Teams Receive All-Academic Pac-12 Honors

083eaf175283291e2f135e1cb0573535-150x150The University of Arizona Wildcats have placed members on both the men’s and women’s Pac-12 All-Academic outdoor track and field teams.

For the men, Aaron Castle, Harrison Ivie, and Lawai Lalang received honors. Lawang, who maintained a 3,42 GPA as a public health major during his time at Arizona, was named the 2014 Pac-12 Scholar Athlete of the Year. Sam Macaluso was named a second-team academic All-American for the second straight year, and Kenji Bierig and LEzo Urreiztieta also received honorable mentions.

On the women’s side, Stephanie Bulder, Elvin Kibet, and Erin Menefee were all named to the academic first-team. They were joined by Kate Penney and Tamara Pridgett on the second-team. Five Wildcats earned honorable mention accolades as well for the women, Clea Formaz, Julie Labonté, Shakayla McEaddy. Germe Poston and Myriah Sujansky.
