Chicago Fire Youth Academy

Chicago Fire FC invests in the Development of their Youth

"Our PASS Program (Performace, Advisory, and Support Services) is tasked with delivering health, education, and welfare initiatives to players, staff, and families.  Game Plan is a welcome addition to our team.  The short and intentional online lessons are an ideal fit as we begin to build individual plans to meet the development needs of each Academy player."

Chicago Fire FC PASS Program

The academy’s PASS program goes beyond the traditional X’s and O’s of coaching toward a ‘broad-based holistic approach’ to educating young athletes. PASS stands for:

-To Perform: to achieve, realize, work, or attain;
-To Advise: to consult, help, counsel, or recommend;
-To Support: to frame or provide a ground fountain, base, or scaffold;
-To Serve: participants of the #cffc grassroots to excellence programs.

How Game Plan Helped

Through this partnership, the academy’s players have access to a wide array of educational content through the Game Plan platform – providing the organization with a new way to virtually manage and support the “off the field” development of their players. The academy has access to an entire curriculum of eLearning courses.  These courses teach key skills that the Youth Academy have used to successfully navigate their personal, sporting, and academic development.

Chicago Fire FC

The Chicago Fire have been innovators in terms of prioritizing their players’ development as leaders both on and off the field.  As an organization that strives to ignite success in the lives of its players during their time in sport and beyond, the Chicago Fire is a prime example of a partner that is perfectly aligned with our mission at Game Plan.
