Helping T-Birds Storm the Sky in the classroom, on the field, and in life.

We are committed to providing services and resources that aid student-athletes in maintaining excellence in the classroom, on the field, and beyond.

Providing an individualized approach for student development is at the core of what we do. It is essential that we implement programs that allow our student-athletes the opportunity to develop skills and strategies to be successful in all their endeavors, post-collegiate athletics.

Todd BrownDeputy Athletic Director

I came to SUU with no criminal justice background or experience, but the teachers and administration here gave me an opportunity to learn and achieve things I never thought I'd be capable of. If you want to be successful and strive for greatness, then treat academics like how you treat your loved ones. Put effort and care into that relationship.

My academic experience was great! The professors here at SUU really care about their students as they always take their time getting to know each of their students at a personal level to help achieve the greatest amount of learning. Due to traveling for basketball, it wasn't always easy staying in the loop of all the coursework that needed to be done. However, a lot of my professors made it a lot easier on me with their superb communication and even some understanding. I enjoyed my studies and I can definitely say that my professors were a huge part of my great experience.

Breanu ReidWomen's Basketball Alumni

As a Californian coming to Utah, big changes were to be made. I didn't know what to expect but knew that the thing that would remain unchanged was my love for the game and the will to win. As a Thunderbird at SUU, many times my strength was tested. Though many changes were made in the coaching staff, every year the same work ethic on the field and in the classroom was expected. I will carry this work ethic of a Thunderbird with me for the rest of my life.
