Game Plan is excited to announce a continued partnership with the One Love Foundation, a leading organization in Healthy Relationships and Sexual Violence Prevention. This collaboration will bring One Love’s eLearning modules to student-athletes across the nation, educating them on this crucial topic.
One Love education addresses differences between healthy and unhealthy relationships and teaches warning signs of abuse in an accessible way, creating safe spaces where young people can identify and talk about the issue. These skills are vital to athletes navigating and promoting positive relationships in and out of their sport.
Through Game Plan’s eLearning platform, student-athletes will have access to One Love’s educational programs, including 10 Signs of Healthy and Unhealthy Relationships, Boundaries & Consent, Help a Friend, Practicing the 10 Signs of Healthy Relationships In and Out of Sport, and Safely Navigating Break-Ups.
As relationship abuse prevention remain a critical issue, this partnership ensures that college athletes are equipped with the skills to identify unhealthy behaviors and create healthier, more supportive environments both in and out of sports.
The One Love Foundation provides prevention education programs to young people ages 11+. Through skills-based workshops and peer-to-peer discussions, One Love addresses differences between healthy and unhealthy relationships and teaches warning signs of abuse in an accessible way, creating safe spaces where young people can identify and talk about the issue.
